According to the Marion Police Department, three people broke into the Marion Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram dealership early Saturday, April 15th and stole three vehicles. MCAR Launches “The Feeding Mitchell County Pets Project”

Prescribed Burns In McDowell and Burke Counties

If you have noticed some smoke in the air, it more than likely is coming from McDowell County. The U.S. Forest Service has begun   a 2200-acre prescribed burn on the Grandfather Ranger District in McDowell County to reduce the risk of wildfires.
