Want to learn how to prune and train those apple trees in your yard or brush up on your pruning skills? If so, then come out to Shady Lane Farm, 311 Arbuckle Road, Burnsville, NC at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 22 where Yancey County Cooperative Extension Staff will discuss and demonstrate proper pruning and training techniques for your home orchard.  This workshop will be held outdoors, so dress accordingly.  There is no charge for the workshop; however, we do ask that interested participants register either on-line at: go.ncsu.edu/readext?646680 or by calling the Yancey County Cooperative Extension Center at 682-6186.
