High Peaks Birders will lead a Birding Stroll at the Mountain Heritage High School on Saturday November 17th beginning at 8am. Please bring your binoculars, and dress for the weather.  Birding will take place rain or shine only cancelling if morning travel conditions are dangerous. Birding will take place along the 1.5 mile Cougar Walking Trail. Meet in the upper parking lot, to the right of the guard house, near the disk golf trail head. All skill levels welcome. Bring a snack and Water, the walk is leisurely and can last an hour + depending on weather and bird activity. NOTE: Some parts of the trail are hilly. If weather isn’t great and folks want to do a shorter stroll, they’ll move cars to lower parking lot for the short trail.  For more info please call 682-3733.
