Arrest:
David Ezekiel English, 22, of Fayetteville, was charged by Deputy W. Hobson with misdemeanor unsupervised probation violation issued by Avery County Courts. English was issued a $1,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Avery court on Feb. 18, 2026.
Deven L. Callahan, 19, of Spruce Pine, was charged by Deputy G. McNinch with driving under the influence. Callahan was issued a bond and scheduled to appear in court.
Austin Seth Bennett, 30, of Bakersville, was charged by Deputy W. Hobson with felony probation violations. Bennett was issued a $10,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 12, 2026.
