The biggest misunderstanding I regularly read and hear regarding the concept of separation of church and state is with those on “both sides” who explain to the rest of us Americans what “the other side” thinks. Neither seems to actually know, but that doesn’t stop anyone from ‘splainin what the other guys thinks and why that makes him wrong. It would be hilarious if it wasn’t so divisive and tragic.
