Peter “Pete” Villano, 48, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, passed away unexpectedly on February 20th, 2026.
Born on June 21, 1977, he was the son of the late Ray Villano, who passed away in November 2020.
He is survived by his mother, Maggie Villano of Spruce Pine and his son, Dominic of New York.
Pete lived in Philadelphia with his long-time girlfriend, Theresa Coviello.
In addition, he is survived by his two brothers, Ray Villano(Sondra) of New Jersey, Chris Villano(Sue) of Pennsylvania; his sister, Stephanie Yates (Jonathan) of Sugar Grove, North Carolina, many nieces and nephews; and a great-niece and great-nephew. His Uncle Anthony Yaccarino (Pam) of Woodfin, NC, Uncle Steve Yaccarino of Spruce Pine and many cousins also survive.
The family will receive friends from 4 until 6 p.m. on Friday, February 27th at Yancey Funeral Services. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 6 p.m. with Rev. Randal Phillips officiating. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 28th at Grassy Creek Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be: Chris Villano, Nick Minervini, Frank Minervini, Ray Villano, Gabe Villano and Dominic Villano.
Pete will be remembered by his family and those who knew him.
