We originally announced that the first 100 requests for Private Property Debris Removal has been approved by FEMA for work out of 1,000 requests. We should have added that there WILL be additional approvals from FEMA from the requests that have been submitted (in other words, there will be more than the 100 announced originally). PRIVATE PROPERTY DEBRIS REMOVAL UPDATE
State officials have announced that work on Private Property Debris Removal is resuming by the end of May. FEMA has approved 100 of the 1,000 requests for PPDR in Mitchell County. so cleanup on those approved will begin after the Memorial Day weekend. You will start seeing Crowder Gulf cleanup machinery return to the county shortly. More FEMA approvals are coming and will be released soon.
