Yancey County Local Burn Ban Issued – No Open Burning Within 100 Feet of Structures
Due to extremely dry weather conditions, the Yancey County Fire Marshal and Emergency Management Office have issued a local burn ban effective immediately and until further notice.
Key Restrictions:
No open burning is permitted within 100 feet of any structure.
