Theresa “Nancy” Greene, 88, passed away on January 09, 2026 in Spruce Pine, NC.
Nancy was born on November 05, 1937 in Baltimore, MD to the late William Henry and Theresa Bolek Borger.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two daughters, Kelly Greene and Sandy Hall; one brother, William Borger Jr.; and her former husband and father to her children, William Greene.
Nancy loved crocheting, working with flowers, and going to the Senior Center. She participated in the Senior Games for over 20 years and won many medals for her crocheted afghans.
Those she left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Linda (Sherrill) Thomas; grandchildren, Marquetta (Zack) Holden, Chantel (Josh) Biddix, Taylor (Kody) Hughes, Brody (Josie) Hall, and Dorothy (Aaron) Sparks; great grandchildren, Liam, Ellie, Kai, Lynnlee, Rorie, Sadie, Kenlee, and Kayde; nephews, William H. Borger III and Steven C Borger of Florida; son in law, Dale Hall; and special friend, Mildred Frye.
She will be laid to rest in the Gardens of Faith in Baltimore, Maryland. The family will have a memorial service locally at a later date.
