Claude Silver, age 82 of Burnsville, passed away Tuesday, June 29th, 2021 at Smoky Ridge Health & Rehabilitation.
A native of Yancey County, he was the son of the late Elzie and Savannah Smith Silver. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Roy, Herman and Earl; sisters, Faye and Gin.
Surviving is his loving wife, Nellie Silver, of the home; two daughters: Venita K. Higgins (Dwight) of Charlotte, NC, Patricia Boone (Allen) of Burnsville; grandchildren: Tina, Tonya, Missy, Jessica, Christy and Doug; and seventeen great-grandchildren as well.
Services will be held Thursday, July 1st at Crabtree Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Reverend Chad Wise will officiate. Interment will follow in the Crabtree Baptist Church Cemetery.
