Annette Lee Simpson, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on March 12, 2024, in Henderson County, North Carolina. She was born on July 10, 1937, in Yancey County, North Carolina.
Annette is survived by her daughters, Flora Robinson of Phoenix, Arizona, and Leisa Philbin of Billings, Montana, her son David Simpson and his wife Lori of Mills River, NC, six grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers Billy and Ralph Anglin of Burnsville, NC.
Annette is preceded in death by her husband, Lorn Chester Simpson, her father, Kenneth Anglin, and her mother, Lena Styles Anglin.
A Funeral Service to honor and celebrate Annette’s life will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, March 18, 2024, at Church Street Funeral & Cremation. Annette will be dearly missed by all who knew her, and her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
