Lynne S. Long, age 68, of Altapass Highway in Spruce Pine, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2024 at Life Care Center of Banner Elk.
Born on November 17, 1955 in Washington County, TN, she was the daughter of the late Bob and Billie Sharpe Stewart. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Long who passed away in 2008.
Lynne was a member of the Berry Chapel Baptist Church. She was retired from Baxter Healthcare following forty-four years of service. She loved her grandchildren and spending time with them. She was known as a hardworking person and a great cook. She enjoyed being outdoors, camping and taking trips to the beach.
Left to cherish her memory is her sons; Paul Long of Spruce Pine and Neal Long and wife, Courtney of Pineola; her daughter, Keirah Rose of Spruce Pine and her grandchildren; Adyson and Hudson Long.
In keeping with Lynne’s wishes, no services are planned.
The family would like to extend a ‘Special Thank You’ to the Nurses and CNA(s) of Life Care of Banner Elk for their care of Lynne.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Webb Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
