The Annual Gingerbread House Contest will get underway at the Mitchell County Public Library in Bakersville on Monday, November 19th.  Those wishing to compete may drop off their completed Gingerbread Houses at the library between 9:00-5:00 pm from Monday, November 19th through Friday, December 7th.  There will be 2 divisions: 12 and under and adult.  Submissions will be on display through Tuesday, December 18th and that’s when the winners will be announced.  Gingerbread houses may be picked up after that Tuesday.
