Steep Canyon Rangers Drive In Concert for Yancey COVID Relief Fund

August 29, 2020 @ 8:30 pm - 10:30 pm

Homeplace Beer Company and Young & McQueen are excited to announce the Steep Canyon Rangers live in Burnsville at the old Avondale site on Saturday, August 29 at 8:30 pm! This will be a drive-in concert.

This show is free to the public and will also serve as a fundraiser for the Yancey Covid Relief Fund.

From their cars, fans will watch the band perform from a state-of-the-art mobile stage truck equipped with a 16 foot LED screen. Audio will be transmitted via radio frequency directly to the cars. These shows will also be live streamed on the Homeplace Beer Company website, so if you can’t be there in person, you can still watch from anywhere!

We are adhering to North Carolina and the CDC’s guidelines for social distancing, in order to safely hold this event. You may tailgate from your hatch or truck-bed if you wish, but audience members will otherwise be asked to stay in their vehicles for the duration of the show, except for restroom visits.

There will be no food or beverage vendors on site, so bring your Tailgate Pack (online ordering details coming soon) of Hog Hollow Wood Fired Pizza and a 4-pack of Pull Together Pale Ale and load up your crew for an exciting evening of bluegrass! There are limited parking spaces available so make your reservations now.

To reserve your parking space visit: https://candaid.org/scr-drive-in-tour/

One ticket is good for one parking space, not just one person. So pile in as many as you’d like!

All money raised from this event, through donations and sponsorships, will go directly to help our neighbors who have been affected here in Yancey County.
