Kitsbow Will Shut Down

Kitsbow, an employee-owned company in Old Fort, will close in 3 weeks. The company made 17,000+ garments during 2022 and was on track to make at least 25,000 this year.  This closing will affect 41 employees.

The 11 year old company was restructured in January 2022 and became an employee-owned company. During the pandemic they were one of the first companies to design and manufacture face mask.

David Billstrom, speaking for the Team at Kitsbow, said the company could not get enough operating capital to grow.

There is a major sale of the 7,000 items in inventory, ranging from beautiful Icon wool shirts, to the now-classic Kitsbow coffee cups and other accessories. Their entire inventory is marked down 20%, all sales are final. The last day of production will be on or about Friday, April 7.
