Mitchell County Animal Rescue needs your help. They have recently rescued 26 cats from a single home with many in dire need of medical attention. When found, multiple cats were in very bad condition and several in the home were deceased. Mitchell Animal Rescue is taking care of the cats but they need your help for foster volunteers, donations of pet food, cat toys, treat and financial contributions to help with medical treatment costs. The owner of the cats willingly surrendered them. According to the shelter, this was situation where the number of cats got out of hand and the people were afraid to reach out for help.
