On Wednesday, April 10th, Yancey County Schools held Pre K and Kindergarten Registration at the Burnsville Town Center. The event was a smashing success with 120 Kindergarten registrations and over 30 Pre K applications being submitted. We would like to thank the Yancey County Sheriff’s Office, Yancey Health Department, Burnsville Police Department, Burnsville Fire Department, My Healthy Schools and YCS teachers and staff for their efforts in making this day special for our new students and families. A special thanks also goes out to all the parents who brought their children out for this exciting event.
