With graduation day quickly approaching, Mountain Heritage High School’s Class of 2024 has been busy with celebratory activities and traditions. A new tradition that began last year is the Senior Signing Day and Breakfast Celebration. On Friday, May 3rd, seniors gathered in the MHHS gym to share a delicious breakfast catered by Pig & Grits and served by the Yancey County Board of Education.
After breakfast, parents joined their seniors to partake in the festivities and take pictures. Photo booths were available along with gifts from community partners. YCS would like to thank the following for their contributions to making Senior Signing Day a glowing success: Juvenile Crime Prevention Center (JCPC), Appalachian State University, Mayland Community College, Advent Health, and PNC bank.
