Suspect Leads Avery Deputy on Chase

McDowell County Sheriff’s Office Press Release: Deputy Jesse Hicks of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Joel Craig Forbes, 45, address listed as Lukin Street in Marion, with fleeing to elude arrest and possession of a stolen vehicle.  N.C. Avery County Included in Arrest of 82 People

Mt. Mitchell Raises Pay for Summer Workers to $12/Hour After a special appeal to top state officials, Mt.
