Good News for some Mitchell County residents. WAMY has been selected by the North Carolina Housing Finance Agency to facilitate a home repair program called Essential Single Family Rehab.
This home rehabilitation program specifically targets Mitchell County older adults, age 62+, individuals with disabilities and veterans. It also includes households with lead hazards with children under six years old residing in the home. Income restrictions apply.
WAMY is accepting applications through December 31st. Selections will be made by February 15, 2022. You should submit your application as soon as possible. You can call for more information. 828-406-4705
