Yancey County Animal Cruelty Case in Court

Two Yancey County men are in court today over an animal cruelty charge that stems from an incident in May of this year. The felony animal cruelty charges are against 27 year old Dallas Blevins and 21 year old Anthony Drew Elkins who are accused of strangling a German Shepherd with a belt after it bit Blevins’ young daughter.
